Less flexibility unless you live in a mansion
Distraction almost everywhere
Privacy issue and harder to locate
Not so professional to meet from home
No one to network with
Could hang out in not so motivating pajamas all day
Higher cost especially in SF
More Flexibility in Space: could range from open desk to private office
Less distraction
Easy to locate since it is a commercial office space
More professional to have a meeting
Networking opportunities
Reasons to wear Pants
Lower cost

Coworking space has risen in leaps and bounds in the last few years as more and more organizations and freelancers are beginning to opt for this option rather than renting out a full office. There is also the preference for working at home so in this article we will examine 5 reasons why a coworking space is way better than a home office or working from home.
Low start-up cost
Coworking space gives freelancers and entrepreneurs the opportunity to operate in a well-equipped office environment without having to bear the cost of setting up their office. Working in coworking space makes it easier for to work on your business without thinking about the rent, insurance, office equipment and other necessary facilities that are needed in a professional office. Also, since San Francisco apartment costs is so high, it is actually cheaper to be in a coworking space.
Flexibility
There is a flexibility that comes with working with a coworking space that you cannot get when you work from your home. When you operate in a coworking facility you can adjust your package to include members of your team and you will also have access to a conference room whenever you have an important engagement. This is one thing that you cannot get when you work at home even if you have a huge condo.
Less Distraction
When you work at home you get easily distracted because it is your comfort zone and there are many triggers that can throw you when you are working from home. A coworking space is filled with other freelancers like you so seeing them work will motivate you to keep going even when you are tired.
Easy To Locate
It is a lot easier for your clients to find you when you work in a coworking space because it is central and it is a lot easier for them to refer new clients because they will locate your business by your office. Freelancers who work from home are not often seen as professionals regardless of their online presence so it is important you shed the “home” toga if you want to be seen as a professional in your field.
Networking Opportunities
You can barely network when you are at home but the reverse is the case when you are in a shared office because in the midst of other professionals who can easily refer to clients who need your services. You can also get knowledge on new industry trends from the other professionals all around you that can help take your business to the next level.
Separate Work From Personal Life
When you work from home, you can barely separate both your work-life and personal life and in no time they will become intertwined that you might not even when to take a breather and this might affect your relationship loved one. Working in a coworking environment you can easily shut down for the day when you want to and go home to catch a sitcom with your family.

Home is where the heart is so whenever you are debating between working from home and a coworking space, keep that in mind.

You've done a good job of pointing out the differences between them. Home is where the heart is, so keep that in mind when deciding between working from home and using a coworking space.
